Account & Data Deletion Request

SafeHands LLC ("SafeHands," "we," "us," or "our") respects your personal data. This page describes how to request deletion of your SafeHands account and associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the SafeHands app:

  • Open the SafeHands app and sign in

  • Tap the menu icon and go to "Settings"

  • Tap "My Account"

  • Tap "Delete Account"

  • Confirm the deletion

Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Can't Access the App?

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by email:

  • Send an email to [email protected]

  • Use the subject line Account Deletion Request

  • Include the email address associated with your SafeHands account

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

What Data is Deleted?

When you request account deletion, we permanently delete:

  • Your account information (name, email, password)

  • All health profiles you created (medications, conditions, allergies, vitals, vaccinations, providers, contacts, dietary needs, oxygen support, assistive devices)

  • All notes, care updates, and care tasks you created

  • Care Circle invitations you sent or received

  • Your access to any Care Circles you joined

  • Authentication and session data

What May Be Retained?

The following limited data may be retained after account deletion:

  • Anonymized or aggregated usage data that cannot identify you, retained for service improvement

  • Information we are legally required to keep (such as records related to financial transactions or legal disputes)

  • Backup copies of your data, which are securely deleted within 30 days of your account deletion

Deleting Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can also delete individual items at any time within the app without deleting your entire account:

  • Delete individual medications, conditions, allergies, vitals, notes, or appointments from their respective sections

  • Delete entire profiles you created

  • Remove members from your Care Circle

  • Leave a Care Circle you were invited to

  • Revoke any active SafeLink shares
